Ōtsutsuki Kaguya is a pivotal figure in the Naruto series, often considered the main antagonist of the Fourth Shinobi World War. She is the matriarch of the Ōtsutsuki clan and predates the existence of the shinobi world as it is known.

Arriving on Earth long ago, Kaguya consumed the chakra fruit of the Shinju (God Tree), gaining immense power and becoming the Ten-Tails. Using her abilities, she ended wars and ruled as a god, but later became tyrannical. Her sons, Hagoromo (the Sage of Six Paths) and Hamura, eventually sealed her away to save humanity.

Centuries later, through the machinations of Black Zetsu, Kaguya was resurrected. She sought to reclaim all chakra, viewing humanity as a threat. Her overwhelming power and unique abilities, including the Byakugan, Rinne Sharingan, and mastery over chakra nature transformations, made her a formidable opponent.

Ultimately, Kaguya was defeated and resealed by Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Kakashi Hatake, ending her reign of terror and bringing peace to the ninja world once more.
